Barbara J. Mayo 96, of Princeton, IN entered rest on Wednesday July 19,2018 at
The Waters in Princeton.

She was born on April 12,1922 in Oakland City to William and Nettie (Coleman) Board. 

She was preceded in death two brothers Jim and Bill Board, daughter Jo Ellen Mayo, and her husband, 
Max Mayo; on Jan. 2, 1999, they, where married on Nov. 8, 1942. 

Barbara had worked at Glidden Paint in Highland, IN

She is survived by her sons Allen (Audri) Mayo of Cumby, TX, Jason(Virginia-Deceased) Mayo of Markham, TX and Bradley (Gretchen) Mayo of Naperville, IL and daughter Gail (John) Grenchik of Warrensville, IL.  Also, survived by her sister Susan Greer of Princeton, IN and brother Jack Board of Indianapolis, IN. (9) grandchildren, (15) Great-Grandchildren and (4) Great-Great Grandchildren

Graveside services will be on Saturday July 28,2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Montgomery Cemetery in
Oakland City with Rev. Darin D. Nossett will be officiating. Family and friends will gather for services at the cemetery.

Special thanks to Barbara’s sister, Susan for her unending love and patience and for the kindness shown by the staff at The Waters of Princeton. Barbara’s life was enriched by their care. Family has entrusted Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel for personal assistance.
