Bobbie H. Kell 88 of Petersburg, IN entered rest on Sunday
July 29, 2018 at
Golden Living Center in Petersburg, IN.
She was born on Feb. 20,1930 in Glezen,
IN to William and Eunice (Willis) Hadlock.
Bobbie was preceded in death by parents, 3 brothers and 2
step sisters and 3 step
brothers, grandson Casey J. Kell and husband Raymond L. Kell.
She was a member First General Baptist Church in Oakland
City, IN. She and Raymond resided
in Oakland City for 40 years before moving to Chandler, IN and then to
Petersburg, IN
where she was a resident of Golden Living Center. Bobbie had worked at Dairy
Queen in
Princeton and R.L. Jefferies Trucking where she used her cooking skills in the
cafeteria.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, reading and listening to Gospel
Music.
She loved animals and had numerous pets throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed
sharing
with others by giving homemade items like pies and cakes, jellies. She loved
her family so deeply and
enjoyed spending every moment she could with them. Her relationship with Jesus
Christ
was her first love in her life and she served him faithfully until she departed
this life
for her heavenly home.
She is survived by daughter Beth A. (Frank) Coleman of
Petersburg, IN, Sons: Lanny J.
(Sheila) Kell of Oakland City, IN. and Dane Lee (Jana) Kell of Granite City,
Ill.
(7) Grandchildren: (20) Great-Grandchildren Several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday August 2,2018 at
Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel,
with burial in Providence Cemetery. Rev. Frank A. Coleman Jr. and Rev. Frank E.
Coleman
will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from
11:00 A.M.
until services on Thursday.
