Mary Josephine “Bigham” Boedeker 95 of Oakland City, IN entered rest on Monday July
30, 2018 at
Golden Living Center in Petersburg, IN.
She was born on Jan. 14,1923 in Oakland City to William and
Ana Orth Bigham.
She was preceded in death by husband William Boedeker of 63 years and a still born son, her
parents, sister Kathryn Whaley, brothers William and Harold Bigham
and sister-in-law’s
Ruth King and Elsie Smith.
Mary graduated from Oakland City His in 1940 and was member of
St. John’s Church in Buckskin.
Survived by daughters Joanne Radigan
of Princeton, IN and Suzanne (Ron) Thorne of Winslow, IN.
son Greg (Barb) Hamm of Petersburg, IN. Grandchild Laura (JT)Norris of
Evansville, IN.,
Melissa Traylor of Petersburg, IN and Michael Thorne of Winslow, IN. Great
Grandchildren
Milo Norris and Jonathan Traylor, Cousin Jack Bigham
of Shaker Heights, OH. Several nieces and
Nephews.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday August 3, 2018 at
Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with
burial in St. John’s Cemetery in Buckskin, IN. Rev. Bill L. Reed will be
officiating. Visitation
will be from 11:00 A.M until services on Friday. A special thank you to staff
at Golden Living
Center in Petersburg for the care giving to our mother.
