Charles Edwin Shoultz 90 of Francisco, IN entered rest on Saturday June
9,2018 at
Lakewood Home in Petersburg, IN.
He was born on July 30,1927
in Pike County to Charles and Mamie (Willis) Shoultz.
Charles was preceded in
death by his parents, brothers Ozzie, Marion, Arthur, Randall and Robert Shoultz, sisters Ethel Craft, Marie Lucas and Inez West and
a son Gary Shoultz in 2017.
He graduated from Mt.
Olympus High School in 1944. And served in the
United States Navy and was a patriciate in Honor Flight EVV7 on October 2017.
Charlies was a truck driver for A&H Trucking-Advance Trucking for 38 years
and was member of Teamster Union Local #215. And served on the Gibson
County Council for 20 years. Member of Pike County Bird Hunters Club,
Timeless Classic Care Club of Pike County and NRA. Additional Charlie as he was
known, loved to hunt, fish and
garden, he had owned harness horse for many years and built and operated the
Wabash
Erie Inn in Francisco. But his passion in life was collecting, going to
auctions and spoiling his grandchildren.
He is survived by wife of 65
years Emma Lou (Oliver) Shoultz, son Jay Shoultz of Francisco, IN and daughter Terry Crooks of
Oakland City, IN. Brothers Harrell Shoultz of
Petersburg, IN. Granddaughter Tayla Shoultz, Grandson Jayson Shoultz.
Memorial Services will be on
Monday June 25,2018 12:00 Noon at Francisco Gospel
Ministry Church with Rev. Jeff Bryant officiating. Visitation will be from
10:00 A.M. until services at the church.
