Stanley
Reneer, 64, of Princeton, IN, passed away at the
Linda White Hospice House on Saturday, June 9th.
Born 18 Dec 1953.
Stan
lived in Princeton all of his life. He began his career with the Southern Rail
Road and then joined the Carpenters Union Local 90, which he worked until he
retired. Stan had many hobbies including arrowhead hunting, coin and book
collecting, studying Native American history, but most of all was an avid dog
lover. He was a musician and played in a band called Summer Daze in the 70s.
He
is survived by 7 siblings, Judy Robertson, Debbie (David) Williams, Janet
(Jack) Perry, Charlie (Julie) Reneer, Joanie (Dan
Bittner) Reneer, Lisa (Eric) Douglas, Jimmy (Kat) Reneer, and Mike Simmons, an honorary brother, as well as
16 nieces and nephews, and 11 great nieces and nephews and his beloved dog,
Marley.
He
is preceded in death by his parents, James and Jenny Reneer
of Princeton and a sister, Kathy Reneer.
Funeral
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 13th at Colvin Funeral
Home in Princeton, with Father Ambrose Wanyonyi,
celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be held from 10a.m.-1p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
