Raphael E.
(Ray) Klueh, age 83 passed away Wednesday, June 20,
2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Evansville, IN.
He was born March 15, 1935 in New Boston, IN to the late Paul and Anna (Mercker) Klueh.
He resided
in St. James, Haubstadt, IN for the last 47 years.
Ray retired from Danco, Inc. in 1997 and was a member
of the Carpenters Union Local #549 for 54 years.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters Mary Magdalene Bolin and Ester Claycomb.
He was a 47 year member of St. James Catholic Church, also a member of the
Knights of Columbus #2215, Knights of St. John #345 and Haubstadt Chamber of
Commerce (Haubstadt Sommerfest, Inc.). Ray enjoyed playing shuffleboard, horse shoes
and had a strong love for Ford Automobiles. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and
spending time with family, friends and his best furry buddy, Theo.
He is
survived of by his wife Wanda (Cronin) to whom he would have been married 65
years on July 7th, his daughters; Debbie (Jeff) Bosse
of Long Boat Key, FL, Dawna (David) Luigs of
Haubstadt, IN, his son; Doug (Cindi) Klueh of St Joe,
IN.
His grandchildren; Glenn (Melissa) Stroessner, Adam Luigs, Alissa Luigs, Jenna Klueh and great grandchild; Harrison Stroessner. 3 sisters; Charlotte Hubert of St. Croix, IN,
Virginia Deller of Dale and Kathy Vaught of Tell City. 2 brothers Leon
Klueh of Tell City and Kenneth Klueh
of New Boston, IN.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 23rd at St.
James Catholic Church, Haubstadt, IN with burial following in the church
cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 22nd at
Wade Funeral Home with a Rosary service beginning at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will
also be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
