Robert F. “Rob” Seib, 66 passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at his home in Haubstadt where he resided his lifetime.

He was born October 28, 1951 in Haubstadt to the late Frank and Mary Louise (Schneider) Seib. He retired from Duke Energy. 

Rob was a loving husband, father and papaw. 

He was a lifetime member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Rob was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and member of American Legion Post #194. He was a lifelong fan of the San Francisco Giants and was a coach for Haubstadt Little League.

He was also preceded in death by a brother Leo Seib. 

Rob is survived by his wife of 42 years, Debbie (Halbig) Seib. 1 daughter, Michelle (Jason) Moll of Evansville and 1 son, Wesley (Adrienne) Seib of Evansville. 4 grandchildren: Gabe Hildenbrand and Owen Seib. Preston and Scarlett Moll. 3 sisters; Dorothy Shoulders of Newburgh, Rose Wilkerson and Mary Willman both of Evansville. 2 brothers, Andy Seib of Haubstadt and Sylvester Seib of Albion, IL. Several nieces and nephews. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 15 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with burial following in the church cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Monday at Wade Funeral Home with a Rosary service beginning at 1:30 PM. Visitation will also be held from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday, May 15 at the church.
