Dollie
B. Hardiman, 83, of Evansville and formerly of
Princeton, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in
Newburgh, IN.
She
was born August 30, 1934 in Georgetown, Texas to the late, Hubert Bedford Sr.
and Annie Mae (Mays) Bedford.
Dollie
worked as a nurse’s aide in pediatrics at St. Catherine Hospital –East Chicago,
IN and retired from there. She attended the Greater Holy Temple Family
Worship Center in Princeton. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, shopping and
crocheting. She even taught her family to crochet.
She
is survived by her husband, Urval Hardiman
of Evansville; 4 children, Cyrus Hardiman (Roya) of
Irvine, CA, Terrel Hardiman
of Gary, IN, Madie Brown (David Williams) of
Princeton and Shaw Hardiman (Karen) of Escondido, CA;
13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren;
3 sisters, Madie Benson of Aurora, CO, Claretta Tiggs of Los Angeles, CA and Claressa
Vanderbilt of Eastvale, CA; and several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral
service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Greater Holy Temple
Family Worship Center, 202 East Pinkney St., Princeton, IN 47670, officiated by
Rev. Dr. William W. Simmons Sr.. Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery
in Princeton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at
the Greater Holy Temple Family Worship Center. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton
has been entrusted with arrangements.
