Daniel Malcum Peach passed away March 23, 2018 with his loving
family around him at Transcendent Health Care in Owensville, IN.
Daniel was
born March 28, 1931 in Gibson County, Indiana to Grace Mae (McClellan) and
Arthur Brian Peach.
Daniel went
to school in Owensville, IN. He was a farmer and mechanic Dan worked for Key
Farms and was a mechanic at Nix Chevrolet in Poseyville,
Indiana.
Dan was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He
never seen a stranger and always had a story to tell. Dan was a very good
provider and hard worker, he loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings.
After retirement, he enjoyed fishing, camping, and to coon hunt. He loved to
work jig saw puzzles, he put together many beautiful puzzles to make pictures
out of them.
Daniel was a member of South Gibson Apostolic Church, he was resident council
president at Transcendent Health Care since January 2017. He served in the Army
during the Korean War.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife Letta Joy of 66 years, married May 25,
1952. Also surviving are 2 sons; Danny Ray (his companion Mike Maier) of Princeton
Indiana and Alvin Willis (Cindy) Peach of Mt. Carmel Illinois; brothers Raymond
(Judy) Peach of Owensville and Winfred Ray (Candy) Peach; sister Laretta Bush of Owensville; grandchildren April (Mike) Frey
of Owensville, Danelle Banks (companion Carl Pierce) of Mt. Carmel, Jason Peach
(companion Sheena Koch) of Hopkinsville, Ky, Mike
(Roxanne) Peach, Chasity (Aaron) Morris of Allendale, Illinois; eight great
grandchildren, Austin Peach, Justin (Madison) Midle,
Taylor Banks, William Banks, Nick Peach, Blake Peach, Jaxon Morris, Bennett
Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
Daniel was preceded by his parents; daughter Faith Hope; brothers Jeffory Howllerd Peach, Earl
Eugene Peach, Winsell Lee Peach; sister Aretta Wright; grandson Timothy Colt Peach.
Visitation and Funeral will be Tuesday March 27, 2018 at South Gibson Apostolic
Church in Owensville, IN. Visitation from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with funeral at
2:00pm. Interment will be at Maumee Cemetery with James Freels
officiating. Holders Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to care for
Mr. Peach.
