Kenneth
Warren “Skippy” Hensley, 53, formerly of Princeton, passed away surrounded by
his family on Monday, March 26, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville,
IN.
He
was born on October 3, 1964 in Princeton, IN.
He
graduated from PCHS in 1982. He was self-employed in construction and
previously worked at Hansen’s Corp. He was a horse trainer. He also enjoyed
hunting and fishing at the river. He was an excellent craftsman, very talented
at building things. He loved to play musical instruments. He loved his family
and his puppies.
He
is survived by his wife, Sherry Hensley; 3 children, Kyler Hensley of
Princeton, Kourtney Hensley of McCutchanville and
Kalyn Nossett (Chris) of Princeton; 5 grandchildren,
Kamron Hale, Kale Hensley, Kaigan, Jaxyn and Raydin Nossett; his parents, Tony and Charlotte Hensley of
Princeton and Charlotte and Hugh Nettleton of Marion, KY; brothers, Rick
Hensley (Liz) of Princeton, Robert Vermillion (Mallory) of Ft. Branch, Michael
Vermillion (Sonya) of Winder, GA, Dan Nettleton of Indianapolis and Eugene
Nettleton (Pam) of Indianapolis.
Funeral
service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Colvin Funeral Home
in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Glyn Pfohl and Pastor
Tom Babbitt. Burial will follow at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home.
