Billy Wayne Masters, 77, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at his home in Hazleton.

He was born in Pike County near Union on September 28, 1940 to Rex and Ada (White) Masters.

Billy served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a former owner/operator of the Hilltop Tavern in Hazleton for 18 years, selling the business in 2005. He was a member of the American Legion Post 25 and former member of the Hazleton Lions Club. He enjoyed playing pool, darts, going four wheeling, fishing and he enjoyed his pet bird.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Amy Huebner (Greg Davis) of Princeton; daughter-in-law, Melinda Preusz of Patoka; 2 stepsons, Ryan Bradshaw of Texas and Ron Bradshaw of Vincennes; 2 brothers, Jack Masters of Vincennes and Gordon Masters of Florida; 11 grandchildren, Tyler, Tia and Braelyn Huebner, Rylee and Hayle Bradshaw, Richard, R.J. and Roy Bradshaw and Lindsey, Loren and Ryker Bradshaw; 2 great-grandchildren, Reegyn and Kayzlyn Bradshaw; his best friend, Jerry Tislow of Hazleton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Beverly Masters in 2010; stepson, Rodney Bradshaw; brothers, Earl and Robert Masters; sisters, Lavon Hunt, Oleva Hunter and Ruth Laidle.

The family will have a Celebration of Life from 11 am until 3 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Hazleton Community Center. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
