Rita M. Hasenour, 93, of Haubstadt, IN,
passed away at West River Health Campus in Evansville, IN on February 5, 2018.
She was born to the late William and Anna (Foltz) Hartmann on August
9, 1924 in Mount Vernon, IN.
Rita was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Daughters of
Isabella Haubstadt Knights of Columbus, and St. James Quilting Club. She was an
active leader in 4H, a volunteer for the Deaconess
Hospital Auxiliary Pink Ladies for 21 years, and loved to bake. She
also baked wedding cakes for over 40 years.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Othmar Hasenour, brother; Don
Hartmann, and sister; Dorothy Kissel.
She is survived by her son; Michael and Vicky (Labhart)
Hasenour of Haubstadt, IN, grandchildren; Laci (Bill)
Scourfield, Wade Hasenour,
and Clint Hasenour, brothers; Bill Hartmann of Mt.
Vernon, IN and Bob Hartmann of St. Phillips, IN, sisters; Mary Rexing of Evansville, IN and Pauline Denning of Mt. Vernon,
IN, and great grandchildren; Tyson, Brock, and Brynn Scourfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, February 12, 2018 at
10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN. Visitation will be on
Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Stodghill
Funeral Home and again on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 9:00 AM to service
time at St. James Catholic Church. Recitation of the rosary will be on Sunday,
February 11, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Stodghill Funeral
Home. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery.
