Stephan Ray Fleener, 78, formerly of Gibson County, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 in Gaithersburg, MD, where he now lived.

He was born March 20, 1939 in Gibson County to the late Oran and Pearl Fleener.

He graduated from Purdue; served in the U.S Army and was stationed in Alaska. He then spent the rest of his career with the Army Corp of Engineers.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Fleener of Gaithersburg, MD; son, Michael Fleener; daughter, Teresa Myers; and 5 grandchildren.

There will be a private burial in Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City has been entrusted with arrangements.
