William A. Cundiff, 81, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
He was born on December 14, 1936 in Columbia, Kentucky to Leslie and Annie Lea (Collins) Cundiff.
Bill served in the US Army. He then went to work for Potter & Brumfield/Siemens Corp. where he retired after 38 years. He later also worked at Shamrock Tool and I.S.M. Manufacturing. He was a member of First General Baptist Church in Princeton. He could be found at the Senior Center in Princeton most mornings. He was an avid Princeton Tiger Fan and Supporter, St. Louis Cardinal Fan, and an IU Basketball Fan.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Beard (Dan) of Princeton; son, Todd Cundiff (Stacey) of Princeton; companion, Gwen Wright of Princeton; 2 grandchildren, Leigha Reinbrecht (Phil) and Cullen Cundiff (Jen); 7 great grandchildren and 1 on the way, Scarlett, Tripp, Myles, Gus, Rylee, Peyton and Caden; brother, Arlis Cundiff (Lavada) of Princeton; brother-in-law, Bob Wilson; and a sister-in-law, Sue Cundiff.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Malcolm, Al, Ralph and Carlos Cundiff; and 5 sisters, Opal Beloat, Pauline Beloat, Frieda Strickland, Reba Harden and Treva Catt.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Pastor Brad Keenan. Burial will follow at Odd Fellow Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Military graveside services by Retired Military Veterans.
