Jack L. Bruce 71 of Princeton entered rest on Tuesday Feb. 20, 2018 at his home.

He was born on Sept. 27,1946 in Gibson County to Hobart and Thelma Bruce.

Jack was a Diesel Mechanic at Old Ben Coal 11 Mine and member of UMWA. He 
was a member of the McCullough Grove Baptist Church.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by wife Sharon (Goldman) Bruce, daughters Angie Young of Princeton, IN and Shelia Bruce of Evansville, IN. Step-Children Lisa McEllhiney of Princeton, IN, Tracy Schlottman of Francisco, IN and Kimberly Smith of Mt. Carmel, IL Granddaughter Jaclyn Gooch,6 Step Grandchildren, 2 great Grandchildren and 3 Step Great Grandchildren. Brothers Jerry and Jeff Bruce of Oakland City, IN, sisters Pam Cavett of Oakland City and Patsy King of South Bend, IN.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday Feb. 25,2018 at the Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tony Henderson will be officiating. Interment will take place in Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until services Sunday at the chapel.
