Col. Thomas L. White, 79, of Eddyville, Kentucky went to be with the Lord January 28, 2018.

He was born in Mt. Carmel, IL July 4, 1938 to Warren (Boone) White and Alice (Morgan) White.

He retired from General Electric in 1995, after 30 years of service. Thomas had many accomplishments and hobbies throughout his life including becoming a Kentucky Colonel, Master Gardener, respected author of 6 published books, and attended college classes at the age of 72.

Thomas is survived by his wife Phyllis; children Michele (Doug) Groves, Marty (Steve) Mills, Ann Zenthoefer, AJ (Randa) Zenthoefer, Tom (Laurie) White II; sister Kathy White; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren (Boone) and Alice White, son Warren (Doug) White, brother Jerry White, and sister Marjorie White.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 3, 2018 at Holders Funeral Home, 319 S. Main St. Owensville, IN at 2 p.m with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m until service. Burial will be held at Maumee Cemetery with Brother Randell Phillips officiating.
