Voris June Perry, 92, of Princeton, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at Transcendent Healthcare in Owensville.
She was born March 1, 1925 in Pike County, Indiana to the late Frank and Edythe (Gray) Weisheit.
She was a member of the former Hight Chapel Methodist Church. She had worked for Byers Accounting in Princeton and was a “Rosie the Riveter”, working for Republic Aviation in Evansville during WW II. She formerly belonged to the Home Economics Club, was an Avon Lady and den mother for the scouts. She also made wedding cakes for many family members through the years.
Voris is survived by her five children, Bobbi Townsend (Richard) of Newburgh, Lana Perry, Kathy Robinson (Chris), Tim Perry (Jeanne) and Tom Perry (Debra Walker) all of Princeton; three siblings, LaVonne Gray of Indianapolis, Fred Weisheit of Westminster, CO and Ronald Weisheit of Indianapolis; fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Perry in February of 1986; three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday at Colvin Funeral Home.
