Robert L. Hunt 86, of Somerville entered rest on Sunday January 21,2018 at
Deaconess Gateway Hospital. 

He was born on November 28,1931 in Buckskin, IN to Benton and Beatrice Merle (Jenkins) Hunt.

He was raised by Mrs. Alice Swikard.

Robert served in the military during Korean War. Also, he worked at Chrysler Plant in Evansville and retired from Hansen Manufacturing in Princeton. 

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lois Harbison and
grandson Kalin Atkins.

He was an avid IU Basketball and St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan. Also loved talking about the weather and loved his family and friends. 

He survived by his wife Phyllis June (Bottoms) Hunt, son Rick Hunt and daughter Lori Atkins all of Somerville. Grandchildren Josh Hunt fiancée Elizabeth, Cole Hunt Fiancée Alyssa and Damon(Jana) Atkins, great grandchildren Berkley and Lakin Atkins. Sister Joyce Woods of High Ridge, MO.
