Steven J. Hess 48 of Oakland City passed on Wednesday Feb. 7, 2018 in
Oakland City.

He was born on March 28,1969 in Beech Grove, IN

Steven served in the United States Army. He was a member of
Trinity United Methodist Church in Oakland City and was the Manager
of the Diplomat Motel. 

He is survived by wife of 29 years Marion Hess, daughter Jennifer “Pooder”
Kuhs of Evansville. His mother Sandra Hess of Evansville, father Bill Hess of
Arthur, IN. Brother Jeff Robbins of Forrest City, AR, grandchildren Addison and
Ava Kuhs.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday February 12,2018 at the Lamb-Basham 
Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Stoops officiating. Burial in the Blackfoot
Cemetery near Coe. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday and from
8:00 A.M. until services on Monday at the chapel.
