Robert A Gudgel – Owensville, IN- Bob Gudgel 93, died Tuesday evening January 9th, 2018.

He was born at home, in Owensville, in 1924 to Arthur and Lurah (Epperson) Gudgel.

Bob was a retired (life long) farmer, welder, master carpenter, electrician, husband, caretaker, “Papaw Bob” to his grandchildren and a most important a very special Dad. He lived in and around Owensville most of his life.

He was proceeded in death by his wife of 53 years, Beth Gudgel, also a son Robert “Gene” Gudgel, great grandson Taylor Leister, a sister Ruth Denning and a son-in-law Jeff Julian.

Bob is survived by his two girls Linda and her husband Dan Presnell and Mary Julian. Also, 5 grandchildren Jill, Christi, Rachel, Gina and Vaughn (Alicia & Angie) and 8 great-grandchildren Alex, Austin, Greg, Jeffery, Addy Beth, Antonio, Megan and Ava. 1 great-great granddaughter Chloe’. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy Douglas and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4p-7p Monday, January 15th at Holder Funeral Home in Owensville. With a private burial in the Owensville Cemetery at a later date.
