Mark E. DeBord, 57 of rural Hazleton passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Evansville.
He was born Sept. 21, 1960 in Princeton to Ralph and Sylvia “Tibby” DeBord.
Mark had lived in rural Hazleton for the past 27 years moving there from Princeton. He had worked for DeBord Greenhouse and was the owner operator of DeBord Landscape Service for 37 years. He was a 1978 graduate of P.C.H.S. and received a Associate Degree in Horticultural Technology from Vincennes University. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed working and being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Monica DeBord of Hazleton; parents, Ralph and “Tibby” DeBord of Princeton; son, Nathan DeBord (Vanessa) of Owensville; 2 daughters, Lindsey Walden (Stephen) of Princeton and Leah DeBord (Calvin King) of Hazleton; 2 grandchildren, Alexandria DeBord and Grayson Walden; brother, Larry DeBord; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Mary Ann Morris of Haubstadt; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Peyton DeBord.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday January 9, 2018 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Brad Keenan officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery near Hazleton. Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
