Donald M. Woolsey 83, of
Mackey, entered rest on Wednesday Dec. 27,2017 at
St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Donald was born on
Oct.11,1934 in Pike County to Marion & Hazel(Dogan)
Woolsey.
He was preceded in death
parents, sisters Violet Broshears, Virginia Erickson,
Dorothy Hayden brother Lorel Woolsey, nephew Mark
Broshears, great niece Emily Broshears,
and wife Bonnie Woolsey on April 7,2016.
Donald operated a
gas/service station from 1955-1962, also School Bus Driver for
39 years for East Gibson School Corporation. He was a carpenter in the area for
several years. He was founding member of Barton Township Little League and
avid sports fan. and served in The United States Army.
Survived by Step-sons; Tim
(Sue) Bottoms of Somerville, Clint Bottoms of Lynnville, IN and Jeff
(Debora) Bottoms of St. Phillips, IN. Grandchildren: Angela (Glen) Spradley, Christina Bottoms (5) Great Grandchildren
Nephew James Woolsey (Jeanette) Broshears of Oakland
City, Niece Mareda (Dennis) Conwell of Newburgh
and by Nephew Mark Broshears wife Diana Broshears of Oakland City. Several great nieces and great
nephews.
Services will be 10:00 A.M.
Saturday Dec. 30,2017 at the Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in
Somerville Cemetery. Rev. Bill L. Reed will be officiating. Visitation will
be from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Friday and from 8:00 A.M. until services on
Saturday at the Chapel.
