Scott Gene Hoefling, 57 of Haubstadt, went to his Heavenly home on
Wednesday, December 13, 2017.
He was born
October 14, 1960 to the late Charles E. and Betty J. (Schmits)
Hoefling.
Scott was employed at Emge Packing Co. for many years
and was an electrician before being employed at PGW.
Scott attended Dayspring Community Church in Owensville where he was an Elder.
Scott was a Sunday school teacher for over 30 years and was actively involved
in Youth Ministry. He loved sharing his faith with others.
Playing games and spending time with his family and many friends was one of
Scott’s favorite pastimes. He loved to travel and explore new places. He also
enjoyed camping and was always up for an adventure.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Brenda (Seibert), a son, Jason
(Alicia) Hoefling of Fort Branch, a daughter, Amy
(Brandon) Woodley of Evansville. 2 sisters, Joyce (Don) Dewig
of Haubstadt and Sheila Maikranz of Fort Branch. 1
sister-in-law, Tena (Tom) McElroy, 1 brother-in-law, Brian Seibert and many
nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, December 18 at the Dayspring Family Life
Center, 309 W. Brummitt St., Owensville, IN.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 PM Sunday, December 17 at the Dayspring
Family Life Center. Visitation will also be held Monday, December 18 from 9 to
10 AM at the Family Life Center.
Wade Funeral Home in Haubstadt is handling the arrangements for the family.
