Charles R. Drogich, 71 of Princeton, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at his home.
He was born November 9, 1946, in Vincennes, IN to Thomas and Maxine (Russell) Drogich Jr., who preceded him in death.
Charlie was a former coal miner working for Old Ben Coal Company for several years. He previously worked for the former Potter and Brumfield as a computer programmer, and later worked for Southern Indiana Tire and for Nu Gas. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite. He was a lifelong racing fan, enjoyed working on cars and helped with some local area racing teams through the years. He enjoyed traveling and wildlife.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Drogich of Princeton to whom he married, Dec. 15, 1966. They had just celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. Also survived by a son, Brian Drogich (Amy) of Princeton and granddaughter, Cora Drogich; sister, Beverly Phillips (Tyk) of Florida.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Brad Keenan officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbia “White” Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, with a Masonic Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
