Frances C. Stoffel 96 of Mackey passed on Friday Nov. 10, 2017 at her son’s home
In Ferdinand.

She was born on August 27, 1921 in Mackey to Frederick William Benjamin and
Frieda Augusta (Scholz) Meier.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Norman in 2004.

Frances was a member of St. Johns Church in Buckskin and the Women Guild. Frances graduated from Deaconess School of Nursing in 1944 as a Register Nurse. She spent 25 years of her nursing career in the development and education of young nurses, and spent over 20 years as School Nurse for East Gibson School Corporation. Also, she was member of Deaconess Nurses Alumni Association, East Gibson Retired Teacher Association, Gibson County Retired Teacher Association and Barton Homemakers Extension Club.

She is survived by Sons and Daughter-In-Law Steve & Brenda Stoffel, Ferdinand, IN., Gary & Katie Stoffel, Greensburg, IN, Larry & Brenda Stoffel, Mackey, IN. 
Grandchildren Jason Stoffel of Ferdinand, IN, Ashley Stoffel Chicago, IL, Pamela (Matthew) Keentz of Peoria, IL, Cindy Stoffel of Chicago, IL, Julie (Seth) Branaman of Brownstown, IN, Christopher(Amanda) Stoffel of Mackey, IN and Jessica (Nick) DiCenzo of Brownstown, IN. Great Grandchildren Griffin and Greyson Keentz, Easton, Dawson, Corbin Branaman, Kinley, Laynie, Mabrie Stoffel and Jameson DiCenzo. 

Funeral Services will be Tuesday November 14, 2017 10:00 A.M. St Johns Church in Buckskin. Burial in St. John’s Cemetery. Rev. Matt Malin will be officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Monday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 9:00 A.M. until services on Tuesday at the church.
