Thomas H “Sarge” McCleary 70 of Oakland City entered rest on Friday Nov.10, 2017 at his home.

He was born on Oct. 31,1947 in Evansville, IN.

Tom was retired from United States Army after 22 years and had worked for Princeton Daily Clarion. He had a great passion for Photography.

He was preceded in death his by parents Robert & Ruby (Dunn) McCleary.

Survived by his wife of 51 years Betty (Rostron) McCleary, daughters Renea(Dave) Kroeger of Petersburg and Carmen Doerner of Oakland City, IN. Grandchildren Alli, Jonathan Kroeger and Kasey Doerner.

A celebration of life will take place 1:00 P.M. Saturday Nov. 18,2017 at the Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel. With burial in Forsythe Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until services on Saturday. Bro: Jerry Newkirk will be officiating.
