Mary Imogene “Jean” Glover, 89, of Owensville, passed away, Sunday, November 12, 2017 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.
She was born February 10, 1928 in Gibson County to the late Alexander and Pearl Evelyn Hoarth Johnson.
She was a member of Old Union Christian Church and attended
Owensville 1st Christian Church. She worked for Nu Gas where she worked in
bookkeeping and she was a homemaker.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Glover
who loved her until his last breath. She also was preceded in death by five
siblings, Harold, Owen, Nolan, and Kenny Johnson, and, Neva Wilson.
Survivors include four children, Billie Davis (Gerald) Zehner,
David (Doris) Glover all of Owensville, Scott (Shelley) Glover of Centralia, IL,
and Mark (Charlene) Glover of Wadesville, IN, one brother, Joe Ray Johnson of
Owensville, and one sister, Marcia Williams of Princeton. Mrs. Glover was
blessed with 12 grandchildren, Tom Davis, Brian Davis, Liz Hirsch, Jane Toth, Mindy Glover, Kynan Glover,
Aaron Glover, April Yockey, Dallas Glover, Brandi,
Mike Glover, and Tina Harper, and along with 17 great grandchildren. Several
nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Holders
Funeral Home in Owensville, with David Glover officiating. Burial will be in
Maumee Cemetery near Owensville. Friends may visit with the family from 12-2 PM,
Thursday at the funeral home.
