Mary Lou Sparks, 78 of Owensville, passed away, Friday October 27, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

She was born October 23, 1939 in Cook County, Illinois to the late Carl Kelly and Mary Lou Palmer Sparacino.

She was a homemaker and a member of 1st General Baptist Church. 

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include six children, Sandy (Kevin) Moore, Lois Crabtree, Joe Sparks, and Bob (Tracee) Sparks all of Owensville, Mary (Cecil) Wilcox of Owensboro, and Elizabeth Faughn of Poseyville, and one sister, Shirley Kasprzak of Owensville.

Mrs. Sparks was blessed with twelve grandchildren, Kevin (Erin) Moore, Jessica Moore, Kaci (Michael) Hale, Mary Paige Crabtree, Kami Crabtree, Levi Crabtree, Joe Sparks, Shaelynn (Chris) King, Lani Sparks, Brittney Hoehn, Dustin Wilcox, and Colton Wilcox along with several great grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen by the family and performed by the staff of Holder Funeral Home in Owensville, IN.

A graveside inurnment service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Owensville Cemetery in Owensville.
