Leon Piercy, 83, of Princeton, entered rest on Sunday Oct 29, 2017 at 
Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

He was born on Sept. 25, 1934 in Fairplay, KY.

He was preceded in death by his father William C. and mother Stella (Helm) Piercy, and a bother Donald W. Piercy.

Leon was a music major at Western Kentucky University, in Bowling Green, Ky. He played the piano and clarinet and was in the ROTC band. He was of the Christian Faith. He worked at Potter & Brumfield-Seimens for 45 years and at Gibson General Hospital for 18 years. 

He is survived by a sister Rena M. (Darrell) Corn of Oakland City, nephews Geoffrey (Melissa) Corn Of Springfield, CO, Darren (Kristina) Corn of Oakland City, IN, great nephews Allias Corn, Kaleb (Liz) Corn of Oakland City, great niece Amanda (Kennedy) Ramirez of Walsh, CO. Many Cousins in Kentucky and his special cat OC (Orange Cat).

Special thanks to Transcendent Healthcare of Owensville for the care and kindness given to Leon and for the friends he had there.

Private services will be held at later date. Family has entrusted Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel
