Mark A. Mason, 65 of Oakland City entered rest on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born February 5, 1952 in Princeton, IN to Harlon (Tunny) and Shirley (Feaster) Mason.

He was preceded in death by Grandparents, Emery & Elizabeth Mason, George & Helen Feaster, his father Tunny Mason, brother Gary Mason, and sister Melinda Penny.

He was retired Coal Miner from Old Ben II after 33 years, and member of Oakland City Masonic Lodge #467.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn (Frederick) Mason, his mother Shirley Mason, of Oakland City, daughter Andrea (Donnie) Wiseman of Otwell, IN, sons Mark (Jilaine) Mason II of Washington, IN, Gary Mason of Oakland City, IN, and Rickie Mason of Oakland City, IN, grandchildren Kendra, Jacob, Katelyn, Jiles, Brayden and Josalin Mason. Brothers Eddie (Patti) Mason of Poulsbo, WA and Kelly Mason of Oakland City, IN, sisters Lisa (Brent) Feathers of Georgetown, IN, Shannon (Dennis) Green of Oakland City, IN and Tammy (Dan) Haller of Woodford, VA

Services will be 11:00 Saturday, October 21, 2017 at The Oakland City Church of The Nazarene with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Reverend Darin Nossett will be officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 Friday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 9:00 until time of service on Saturday at the church.
