Mable I. Heldt, 89, of Mackey,
entered rest on Monday October 9, 2017 at
River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN
She was born on December 11,1927 in Lynnville, IN to Miles
& Laura (Zint) Phelps.
Mable and her late husband Willis Heldt
Jr. owned and operated Heldt Grocery and Hardware,
also had a wholesale egg route.
She was a cook for 7 years an East Gibson School Corp. And a
member of Mackey Church of The Nazarene, where she was president of Missionary
Society for several years. Working may jobs, and wore many hats but the
one she was most proud of was title of Mother and Mamaw.
She is survived by her children, Carl (Donna) Heldt of Newburgh, Lloyd (Debbie) Heldt
of Francisco, Bonnie Renfrow of Greenville, South
Carolina, Lita (Steven) Doerner
of Mackey, Ron(Lisa) Heldt of Evansville, Rodger
(Amy) Heldt of Francisco, Kent(Charlene) Heldt of Princeton, and Juanita (David) Sanchez of Fountain
Inn, South Carolina. 20 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday Oct. 12,2017 10:00 A.M. at Mackey Church of The Nazarene with Rev. Bill L. Reed officiating. Burial will take place in North View Cemetery in Elberfeld. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M Wednesday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 9:00 A.M. until services on Thursday at the church. Family like to send special thanks to River Oaks family and Southern Care Hospice for the wonderful care.
