William F. “Bill” Coomer 82 of Oakland City entered rest on Saturday Oct. 21, 2017 at River Oak Health Campus in Princeton.

He was born on Sept. 14,1935 in Petersburg, IN to Russell & Blanche (Lewis) Coomer.

Bill was preceded in death by his bothers, Marion, Jay, Ralph and Rawlin Coomer and sister Charlotte Oxley.

Bill sold cars in the area for many years.

He is survived by wife Ruth (Jerrell) Coomer, daughters, Tonya Gray of Oakland City, Gala Coomer of Francisco, IN, grandson Jason Gray.

Celebration of life services will 2:00 P.M. Saturday October 28,2017 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, Bro: Bob Shepherd will be officiating. Burial will take place in Martins Cemetery, near Littles, IN. Visitation will be from 12Noon on Saturday at the chapel.
