Tommy G. (Tom) Higginbotham, 67, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at his residence.
He was born October 12, 1949 in Johnson, IN to the late Clarence B. and Vera Irene (Keil) Higginbotham.
Tom graduated in 1967 from Owensville High School where he enjoyed playing
basketball for the Kickapoos.
Married the love of his life Pamela (Garrett) on December 7, 1968.
Served his country in the United States Army during the
Vietnam War and was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal;
Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Bronze Service Stars Army Commendation Medal w/V
Device; Sharpshooter (Rifle) Combat Infantryman Badge; Republic of Vietnam
Campaign Medal and Purple Heart. He worked and retired from General Electric
now known as SABIC.
He is survived by his wife Pam of 48 years; daughters,
Brandi (Craig) Money, Lacy (Brett) Seibert; 2 granddaughters, Gracie Ann and
Olivia Kaye Money all of whom he loved unconditionally; siblings, Larry and
Michael Higginbotham, Marla Cleveland and Cheryl (Don) Brown; several cousins,
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Services will be Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 am at
Holders Funeral Home with Brother Jeremy Lang officiating. Burial will be in
Maumee Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the retired military
veterans.
Visitation will be Friday, September 22, 2017 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
