Gary L. Smith, 52, of Owensville, entered into rest on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at his residence.

He was born March 28, 1965 in Princeton to Gary M. and Bertha Lewis Smith.

He was a member of South Gibson Apostolic Church in Owensville, a graduate of Gibson Southern High School, and worked as an Quality Inspector for Mid-States Rubber in Princeton. Gary enjoyed fishing and camping. 

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Lisa Sizemore Smith in Owensville, one son, Justin (Tosha) Smith of Owensville, parents, Gary M. Bertha Smith of Owensville, one sister, Amy Smith of Owensville and one brother, Terry Smith of Owensville. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, September 4, 2017 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville. Burial will be Maumee Cemetery in Johnson. Visitation will be from 10AM until time of service on Monday at the Funeral Home.
