Odis W. Shepherd 95 of Oakland City, entered rest on Thursday Aug. 17, 2017 at
Good Samaritan Nursing Home.

He was born on April 5,1922 in Glezen, IN to James & Grace (Masters) Shepherd.

He was preceded in death by parents and wife Norma Shepherd on Dec. 21, 2011.

Odis retired from Whirlpool Corporation in after 42 years and served in United
States Army during W.W. II. Also, was member of Clarks Chapel General Baptist Church.

He is survived Son: Richard Shepherd of Rossville, Ga., Daughter: Linda (Bill) Malone of Evansville, IN. Grandchildren: Jeff (Tammy) Malone and Ken (Rhonda) Malone, Great Grandchildren: Megan, Austin, Laura Malone. Sisters Betty Purl, Norma McGillem of Petersburg, IN and Janice Johnson of Velpen, IN. 

Funeral services will be Saturday August 19, 2017 10:00 A.M. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and with burial in Forsythe Cemetery. Rev. Bruce Applegate officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday at the chapel. With burial in Forsythe Cemetery.
