Daniel Glenn Robb, 75, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at his home.
He was born on Tuesday, July 21, 1942 in Princeton, IN, to Glenn and Eva Bell (Jones) Robb, both of whom precede him in death.
He was a 1960 graduate of Princeton High School and was a former member of the
Princeton Jaycees.
On Friday, February 24, 1961, in Saint Francisville, IL, he was married to Judith Sloan, who survives.
Daniel was a tool & die maker with Holzmeyer Die and Mold Manufacturing Company of Princeton, retiring in 2016 after 32 years of service.
He was a lifelong area resident and was a “band dad” which included driving the equipment bus for the Marching Tigers. Daniel was also known as “Mr. Fix-it” and enjoyed woodworking as well as working on the band bus. He was a member and trustee of the Friendship Christian Church of Princeton.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Judy, also of Princeton, three daughters, Darla Kay (Jeff) Simmons of Washington, IN, Cheri Ann Stewart of Flora, IL and Danette (Joe) Boyd of Vincennes, IN. Other survivors include a sister, Connie (William) Wells of Marion, IL, and three grandchildren, James Schnelby, Roy (Al) Stewart and Danielle Stewart. He is also survived by his canine companions, Rowdy and McDuff.
He is preceded by his parents, his brother and sister law, Larry (Joyce) Robb and granddaughter, Tiffany Smith.
The family has entrusted Doyle Funeral Home of Princeton with arrangements.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September
1, 2017 at Doyle Funeral Home, located at 520 S. Main Street in Princeton, IN
47670, with Dr. Gene Siverly and Rev. Ralph Clark
officiating; internment will follow in Columbia White Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., also at Doyle Funeral Home, 520 S. Main Street in Princeton, IN.
