Marilyn Ruth Lashbrook, 72, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Stonecrest Medical Center. Formerly of Woodbury, TN and a native of Princeton, IN, she resided in Murfreesboro, TN.
She is survived by her daughters, Maranda Humphreys (David) and Mindi Bell (Marty) all of Murfreesboro, TN; her brother, Roger McClure (Judy) of Francisco, IN; her sister, Sandy Parker (Merill) of Princeton; and her grandchildren, Alyssa and Ashley Humphreys and Thomas and Taylor Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed McClure and Hazel Hensley McClure; her husband, Thomas Wayne Lashbrook and her sister, Barbara McClure.
A member of the Methodist church, Marilyn was retired from the United States Postal Service after 38 years of service. She enjoyed stamp collecting, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., Woodbury, TN 37190, with Brother Paul Chisgar officiating. Visitation with the family will begin Monday from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with local arrangements. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
