James “Mike” Church, 59, of Haubstadt, Indiana, originally of Owensboro, KY, passed away, Monday, August 14, 2017 at his home.

Mike was born December 23, 1957 in Owensboro, Kentucky to James W. Church and Dorothy (Prindle) Fulkerson.

He graduated from Daviess County High School in 1975.

He was proceeded in death by his parents.

Mike is survived by two sons, Aaron (Jessica) Church, Jeff (Andrea) Church, both of Haubstadt, IN and two daughters, Cori (Ryan) Baehl of Carmel, IN, and Danielle (Shane) Pate, of Lewisport, KY; 1 brother, Scott (Agnes) Church of Owensboro, KY, 4 sisters, Mary Lynne Duet of Asheville, NC, Cathy (David) Knox of Owosso, MI, Brenda Church of Tampa, FL, and Jennifer Head of Owensboro, KY. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

Mike recently spent seven years living in Owosso, MI with his sister and enjoyed being involved with their church, Abba’s House. He made many friends while living there. Mike was a quiet man of few words, but loved his family and enjoyed watching Kentucky basketball.

Visitation will be at Wade Funeral Home, 119 S. Vine Street, Haubstadt, Indiana 47639 on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a Christian service at 7:00 pm officiated by his brother-in-law David Knox. A graveside service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, Indiana.
