Patricia McReynolds 63 passed away on June 20, 2017 at Braun’s Nursing Home in Evansville, IN with her sisters by her side.

She was born on April 19, 1954 in Evansville, IN the oldest daughter of Wade and Helen Jane (Barrett) McReynolds.

Patty graduated from Ft Branch High School in 1972, then attended Oakland City University and graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree. She continued her education at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master’s of Church Music Degree in 1982. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Princeton and served as the Minister of Music and Education. Patty served as choral director, youth and senior ministries in the church. She also wrote General Baptist Sunday School lessons for the Stenson Press in Poplar Bluff MO.

Patty is survived by her two sisters Tammie (Greg) Bohnert of Jasper, IN and Mary (Charlie) Ahlf of Evansville, IN and nephews Vaughn Robert (Meagan) Ahlf and Matt (Monica) Bohnert and nieces Lauren and Kristen Bohnert. Also surviving is her loving fur baby Ripley.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Patty’s funeral will be on Saturday, June 24 at 10:00 am at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville, IN with burial to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch. A visitation will be on Friday, June 23 from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
