Hazel B. McClure 98 of, Francisco passed away Wednesday June 21, 2017 at the Gibson General Hospital located in Princeton; IN.
Hazel was born on Friday, February 28, 1919 to William and Mina Hensley, both of whom precede.
She spent her younger years in Pike County and graduated from Otwell School.
She met her sweetheart, in Pike County and was married on Saturday, July 19, 1941 in Princeton, IN and soon afterwards moved to Gibson County and has spent the last 70 years in the Francisco community.
She was a homemaker and having spent her entire life on the
farm, she had developed a love for all types of animals and enjoyed gardening
and the general outdoors. The last few years of her life she enjoyed working in
her flowers both inside and out as well as caring for her birds, fish tanks and
her dogs.
She loved Jesus and enjoyed reading her Bible and attended
the Francisco United Methodist Church.
Hazel is survived by her son William Roger (Judy) McClure of
Francisco, IN and daughters Marilyn Lashbrook of
Murfreesboro, TN and Sandy (Merill) Parker of
Princeton, IN. Other survivors include a
brother, William (June) Hensley of Tenison, IN and
sister, Irene Craig of Petersburg, IN, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren
and 2 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband,
Edward, who preceded in 1984 and a daughter, Barbara Ann McClure in 1996. She
is also preceded by brothers Don, Lloyd and Ted Hensley and sisters Ruth
Schwab, Ethel Williams, June Oxeman and 1 grandchild.
Family has entrusted Doyle Funeral Home of Princeton with
arrangements.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Doyle
Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St, Princeton, IN with Pastor Samuel Polito officiating. Internment will take place in the
Francisco IOOF cemetery.
Visitation for Hazel will be on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10:00A.M. Until
time of service at 2:00 P.M.
