Gregory M. Sterczer, 36, of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at his home in Princeton.
He was born on November 27, 1980 in Evansville, IN to Michael and Gloria (Erdell) Sterczer.
He graduated from Wood Memorial High School in 2000. He was a member of the former Francisco Achievers 4-H Club. He was a fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels and a fan of Tony Stewart Racing. He was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church.
He is survived by his mother, Gloria Sterczer of Princeton; daughter, Katelyn Sterczer of Princeton; 2 brothers, Nicholas (Julie) Sterczer of Francisco and Robert Sterczer of Princeton; niece and godchild, Kyndall Sterczer; 3 nephews, Kayden, Kaleb and Kohlman Sterczer; godparents, Greg and Rose Obert of Ft. Branch; aunt, Elizabeth Thompson; cousins, Donna (Randy) Butler, Jeff Miley, Lisa (Russell) Feagley, David (Melissa) Thompson and Jay (Rachel) Thompson; numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Sterczer in 2003; grandparents, Michael and Hedi Sterczer and Andrew and Elnora (Obert) Erdell; uncles, Joe Thompson and Jack Miley; and an aunt, Heidi Miley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 5342 E SR 168, Ft. Branch, IN 47648, with Father Brian Emmick celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Friday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, IN.
