Georgia A. Schuessler, 87, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN.
She was born to the late George and Viola (Kuester) Graper on July 20, 1929 in Fort Branch, IN.
Georgia Ann was a member of the St. Lucas United Church of Christ in Fort Branch, IN, where she sang in the choir and played the organ for 40 years until 2007. She was also active with the St. Lucas Ladies Guild.
Besides her parents Georgia Ann was also preceded in death by a daughter Becky Schuessler in 1969 and a brother, Jerry Graper in 1988.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Robert Schuessler of Princeton, IN, daughters Brenda (Andy) Kiesel and Beverly (Dan) Singelton both of Fort Branch, IN, brother Donald Graper of Princeton, IN, sister Wanda Wagner of Fort Branch, IN, sister Janice Menke of Huntingburg, IN, grandchildren Rob Singleton, Cindy Petree, Aaron Kiesel, and Lori Reinhart and 11 great grandchildren.
Services will be on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Lucas United Church of Christ in Fort Branch, IN with Reverend Dave Marshall officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN and again from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Lucas United Church of Christ on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.
