Cheri D. Pendleton, 71, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at her home in Princeton.
She was born June 11, 1945 in Oakland City to Paul E. and Loretta Jean (Tipton) Meadows.
She moved back to this area in 2004, coming from Austin, TX and living in many other locations due to her and Bob’s service in the U.S. Air Force. She was a graduate of University of Texas and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965-1971. She also worked for the IRS and the U.S. Dept. of Commerce.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Pendleton whom she married on Dec. 30, 1965 in Charleston, SC; 3 brothers, Rev. Larry Meadows of Princeton, Kerry Meadows of Spurgeon and Gary (Jan) Meadows of Owensville; 4 sisters, Terry Meadows of Princeton, Mary (David) Key of Joliet, IL, Julie Meadows (Joe) of Evansville and Amy Fugate of Patoka; brother-in-law, Joe Caudill of Princeton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ed and Vonnie Pendleton of Lebanon, KY; 1 uncle, Eugene Phillips of Francisco; 2 aunts, Nancy Strickland of Oakland City and Darlene Fritz of Princeton; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cheri was preceded in death by parents; brother, Barry Lee Meadows; sister, Gerry Susan (Meadows) Caudill; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joseph E. and Marcella Pendleton.
Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, Rev. Larry Meadows officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery, Owensville, IN. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 PM on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home. Military graveside services by Retired Military Veterans.
