Teddy L Morris, born in Oakland City, Indiana to Harry and Arlene Morris on September 23, 1933 went to join our Lord on Friday, May 26, 2017. 

Ted served his country in a distinguished military career of 28 years in the United States Air Force. That career took him all over the world and, he received many commendations for his service. 

Ted joins his beloved wife of 55 years, Shirley Sue Eyer-Morris, in Heaven. Ted is preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers, and a great-granddaughter. 

He is survived by one brother, Merle Morris and two sisters, Carole Sue Phillips and Ruth Ann Hill of Indiana. He is also survived by his five much loved children and their spouses: Rebecca Morris Cowell/Guy of North Carolina, Douglas Morris/Tamara of Alaska, Kathy Morris-Thorstad/Joel of Alaska, Timothy Morris/Carol of Alabama and Tracy Morris-Armon/Douglas of Alaska. Ted leaves a legacy of thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Friendship General Baptist Church, Oakland City.
