Diane (Pauley) Jines, 78, of Princeton, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.
She was born October 18, 1938 in Gibson County.
She retired as a secretary at the former Potter & Brumfield/Siemens in Princeton, where she had worked for many years. She was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church and the church choir. Diane loved to play board games and enjoyed attending both of her granddaughters sporting events and they were the love of her life. She was a Master Gardener and was a member of Cinderella Home Economics Club and Cosmos Club.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Cheri Page (Cory) of Princeton; 2 granddaughters, Rylee and Reaghan Page of Princeton; a brother, Joe L. Pauley of Texas; also several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel Pauley and Virginia (Nixon) Younan; a son, Derek Jines; and her husband of 56 years, Ottie Jines Jr. who passed away in January 2015.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2016 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Chris Neikirk and Pastor Jarmon Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home.
