Christine R. Henry, 93, of Francisco, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Linda White Hospice Center in Evansville.

She was born July 21, 1923 in Gibson County to the late George A. Akers and Missie Mae (Morgan) Akers.

She grew up in Princeton where she lived for many years and had resided in Francisco since 2009. She was a retired housekeeper and a member of First Baptist Church in Princeton.

Christine is survived by her daughter, Luann Slinker of Francisco.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Russell R. Henry in 1991.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017, graveside at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton, with Pastor Jim Saunders officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the service.
