Diana Beatty, 68, of Haubstadt, IN,
passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, May, 15, 2017.
She was born to the late John F.
and Ruth (Memmer) Spindler on July 24, 1948 in
Princeton, IN.
She is a member of the Sts. Peter
and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN, the Sts.
Peter and Paul Altar Society, the St. Bernadette Auxillary,
and the Haubstadt American Legion Post # 25 Ladies Auxillary.
Diana retired as a teacher from the Springs Valley Schools in French Lick, IN,
after teaching there for over 30 years.
Besides her parents Diana is also
preceded in death by a sister Gloria Spindler and 2 grandchildren Libby and
Lilah Beatty.
Diana is survived by her husband Larry Beatty of Haubstadt,
IN, they were married on July 5, 1975, at Sts. Peter ans Paul catholic Church by Monsignor Lindauer,
2 children, Aaron (Jessica) Beatty of Newburgh, IN, Alan (Michelle)
Beatty of Evansville, IN, 3 brothers and 1 sister, David (Carolyn) Spindler of
Indianapolis, IN, Jerry (Kathy) Spindler of Indianapolis, IN, Greg (Cindy)
Spindler of Indianapolis, IN, and Janet (Jim) Bryant of Evansville, IN.
She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Gretchen, Kaleb, Cooper, Lola and Lucy
Beatty.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, May 19, 2017
at 11:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic
Church in Haubstadt, IN, Fathers Tony Ernst and Thomas Biju will be
co-celebrants. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation
will be on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Stodghill funeral home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort
Branch, IN, and again from 9:00 AM until service time at the church on
Friday.
