Lois Ann Weist, 76 of Princeton, passed away Sunday, April 2nd 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
She was born April 5, 1940, in Princeton, to Henry and Hilda (Gehl) White.
She lived in Princeton all of her life. She had worked for several years at the G.C. Murphy store in Princeton and then worked a few years at Kmart. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, Chris Weist (Debbie) of Princeton, Craig Weist (Jan) of Hazelton and Kevin Weist (Pam) of Hazelton; two daughters, Cindi Hale (Jay) of Colorado Springs and Therese Weist of Hazelton (Lana Dillon); brother, Donnie White (Donna) of Haubstadt, 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Noble “Pete” Weist in 2010, and two sisters, Joan Reavis and Doris Johnson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, with Fr. Tony Ernst, celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home In Princeton, with a rosary to be prayed at 6 p.m. There will also be visitation from 1 p.m.to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, followed by a procession to the church for the Mass.
