Marie Opal “Farrow” Robb, 89, of Evansville, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 to be reunited with her husband Glenn in heavenly paradise.

Marie was born September 26, 1927 to Travis and Sattie “Sturm” Farrow in Princeton.

Marie only completed an 8th grade formal education, but strongly believed in continuing to learn by reading and observing. She loved to travel, play games, play her organ and be with family. She worked at Woolworths and SS. Kresge in Evansville and delivered the Evansville Press for years. She finished her career at Shane Mfg. She was a member of the Evansville General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, David Robb (Carlene), Peggy Stewart (Clinton), Alvin Robb and Phillip Robb (Penny); daughter-in-law, Amy Robb; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren, with 2 on the way.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Glenn Dale Robb Sr; her son and his wife, Glenn Robb Jr. (Carol); brothers, James, Basil and Eugene Farrow; and her sisters, Elsie Morris, Marjorie Dougan and Dorothy French.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Evansville, IN. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 pm on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
