Deborah Sue (Lockwood) Mathew, 61, left this earthly world on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital.
She was born April 24, 1955 in Evansville to the late James and Carol (Wallace) Lockwood.
She was a graduate of North Posey High School class of 1973, married Stephen Mathew on December 28, 1974.
She had worked as a cook for University of Evansville and Daughters of Charity. Debbie was the secretary of the Bethsaida Cemetery Board.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Stephen; son, Marcus (Tia) Mathew; grandson, Elias; siblings, Chere (Lockwood) Garrett and Keith (Candy) Lockwood; In-Laws, Tim (Lucy) Mathew, David (Mona) Mathew; aunt, Cynthia (Danny) Newton, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Angela.
Services will be at noon on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Holders Funeral Home with Bart Newton and Kinzer Havill officiating. Burial will be in the Bethsaida Cemetery in Stewartsville. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service time.
